Welcome to Joubert Workshop LLC!

We're so glad you're here. We're Daniel and Rachel Joubert, and we've been married for almost 18 years with five amazing children. For us, our business is more than just a workshop—it's a journey rooted in our faith in Christ.

Daniel and I both serve as ordained ministers in the Church of the Nazarene. Daniel works full-time in IT at a Bible College, and I recently left my full-time job to homeschool four of our children and run the business. Our faith has been the foundation that brought us to this point and is what continues to guide us.

As we build this business for our family's future, we hope you'll see how our faith impacts everything we do. Our guiding verse is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” This verse isn't just a part of our story—it's at the core of our hopes and dreams.

We invite you to join us on this journey into business, faith, and family.

A Little Bit Crazy… A Whole Lot of Faith

Joubert Workshop is not just a business. It is a chance to teach our kids the value of hard work, dreams, and family. A few months ago when I (Rachel) started to realize that I needed to start to focus more on our kids needs than on my career. Granted I worked within a Bible College and my kids have always been important but as I realized that they were growing up faster than I could ever imagine I started to dream of being able to spend more time with them.

See our kids like most kids come with challenges. Most of the time it is pretty easy going and they appear to be perfectly awesome kids in public. But behind the public face are the same messy challenges we all face. We did not just have five kids over time. We instead had three awesome kids but then we met two really amazing little girls at church one Sunday and we fell in love with them. They were foster kids who quickly bonded with our kids.

Over the coming months we thought about the idea of fostering and then one day we got the call that the girls needed a forever home. We did not hesitate but opened our lives to them. Our kids were so excited but with any family that is blended not everything is perfect or as easy as it seems. This life that God has called us to is one of faith and chaos. Not only do we have the challenges of blending our family but we also have children with special education needs. We have been through the gambit of issues. But I choose to see them as training grounds for reaching out to new heights.

Joubert Workshop is how I get to spend extra time helping my kids grow. They will soon leave my home and venture off on their own but for now they need their mom by them. But they also need us to provide and to do so we have chosen to build a future that we hope will not only help our children but also others as we continue to grow and encourage them.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
